Visit the chateau
Originally a Gothic castle dating back to the 13th century, the building was converted into a Renaissance chateau during the 16th century. Last extensive reconstruction of Chateau Hluboká in a romantic Neo-Gothic style in 1840 – 1871, including landscaping of the park and surrounding countryside, was performed by the Schwarzenberg family.
